Britse industrie produceert meer

De industriële productie in het Verenigd Koninkrijk is in augustus harder gestegen dan verwacht. Dit bleek vrijdag uit de cijfers van het Britse officiële statistiekbureau.
De productie steeg in augustus met 0,5 procent op maandbasis. Vooraf was door analisten gerekend op een productiestijging van 0,2 procent op maandbasis.
In juli daalde de productie nog met 0,7 procent.
