IBA kondigt contract aan met Jubilant Radiopharma

(ABM FN) IBA heeft vijf Cyclone KIUBE’s verkocht aan Jubilant Radiopharma met bijbehorende apparatuur. Dit maakte de Belgische protonspecialist dinsdagmorgen bekend.
De order maakt onderdeel uit van een plan van Jubilant om de eigen productiecapaciteit uit te breiden. Daarmee is 50 miljoen dollar gemoeid.
De cyclotrons worden geïnstalleerd in de PET-productiefaciliteiten van Jubilant, die verspreid over de VS liggen. Hiermee komt het totale aantal PET-productiefaciliteiten op negen.
Elk van de vijf locaties wordt uitgerust met IBA’s Cyclone KIUBE 180-cyclotron.
Doorgaan kost een Cyclone KIUBE inclusief bijbehorende apparatuur eisen de 2,5 en 5 miljoen euro.
