Chicago Fed index krimpt harder

De Chicago Fed National Activity Index is in oktober harder gekrompen. Dit maakte de centrale bank van Chicago maandag bekend.
De index verslechterde van -0,27 in september naar -0,40 afgelopen maand.
Een negatief cijfer duidt op een vertraging van de groei, terwijl een positief cijfer juist op een groeiversnelling wijst.
Het driemaands voortschrijdend gemiddelde kwam in oktober uit op -0,24, van -0,21 in de maand ervoor.
