Britse economie nipt gekrompen

De Britse economie is in oktober onverwacht gekrompen met 0,1 procent. Dit maakt het Britse statistiekbureau vrijdag bekend.
Economen gepolst door Reuters rekenden juist op een groei van 0,1 procent. In september kromp de economie ook al met 0,1 procent.
In het derde kwartaal werd nog wel een kleine groei van 0,1 procent geregistreerd.
