Britse industriele productie onverwacht gedaald

De industriële productie in het Verenigd Koninkrijk is in oktober onverwacht gedaald. Dit bleek vrijdag uit cijfers van het Britse officiële statistiekbureau.
De Britse industrie produceerde op maandbasis 0,6 procent minder, terwijl economen vooraf juist rekenden op een stijging met 0,2 procent. Daarmee lag het productie op het laagste niveau sinds mei 2020, aldus het statistiekbureau.
Op jaarbasis daalde de productie zelfs met 0,7 procent.
