MicroStrategy koopt nog eens ruim 5.000 bitcoins

MicroStrategy heeft nog eens 5.262 bitcoins gekocht. Dit bleek maandag uit een document dat het bedrijf indiende bij de Amerikaanse beurswaakhond SEC.
MicroStrategy betaalde hiervoor 561 miljoen dollar, of 106.662 dollar per stuk.
Per 22 december steeg het aantal bitcoins dat het bedrijf houdt naar 444.262 stuks. Hiervoor betaalde het bedrijf 27,7 miljard dollar. Dat komt neer op een gemiddelde aankoopprijs van 62.257 dollar.
Maandagmiddag kostte een bitcoin 93.209 dollar.
