Industriele productie eurozone stijgt onverwacht

De industriële productie in de eurozone is in februari onverwacht gestegen. Dit bleek dinsdagochtend uit cijfers van Eurostat, het statistiekbureau van de EU.
De productie in de industrie steeg met 1,1 procent op maandbasis, na een stijging van 0,6 procent in de maand ervoor.
Vooraf geraadpleegde economen rekenden voor februari juist op een daling.
Op jaarbasis steeg de industriële productie in de eurozone in februari met 1,2 procent, waar eveneens een daling was voorzien.
