Industriele productie VS daalt sterker dan verwacht

De industriële productie in de Verenigde Staten is in maart gedaald. Dit maakte de Federal Reserve woensdagmiddag bekend.
Vorige maand daalde de productie met 0,3 procent, terwijl economen rekening hielden met een krimp van 0,1 procent.
In februari kwam de industriële productie 0,8 procent hoger uit, waar eerder voor die maand een plus van 0,7 procent werd gemeld.
De capaciteitsbenutting daalde in maart naar 77,8 procent. Daarmee was de daling iets groter dan verwacht.
